Details Successful completion of the BIIAB Level 2 Introduction to Licensed Retail Operations can be utilised as a base from which to progress to the BIIAB Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Licensed Hospitality and/or the BIIAB Level 3 Diploma in Licensed Hospitality. The Introduction to Licensed Retail Operations consists of 13 sections: • cash security and stock control • catering • customer service • employment law • financial management • gaming and machine income • health and safety at work • management of internal and external areas • management of staff • marketing and merchandising • product knowledge & drinks service • staff recruitment & training • trade description • weights & measures.
The BIIAB Level 2 Introduction to Licensed Retail Operations is assessed by short, closed book examination which uses multiple-choice questions. The course usually comprises of three or more days of training. This qualification is offered by a number of BIIAB approved centres (course fees are set by each BIIAB approved centre) - comprehensive support material is also made available.
